This full-time W-2 Lead Maintenance Technician role is based in Allentown, Pennsylvania, and leads maintenance work across residential properties in the Greater Lehigh Valley. You will supervise a two-person team while remaining active in field repairs, inspections, turnovers, work orders, and vendor coordination. The role is for a multi-trade property or facilities professional who can organize work independently and handle urgent issues when needed.
What you’ll do
- Lead, train, and coordinate maintenance technicians and vendors.
- Manage work orders, unit turnovers, inspections, and preventive maintenance.
- Complete plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, drywall, painting, and general repair work.
- Inspect move-outs and prepare units for new residents.
- Manage tools, materials, supplies, and maintenance records.
- Update maintenance activity in AppFolio or a similar system.
- Communicate with residents, vendors, and internal colleagues.

- Working capability across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, drywall, painting, and general repairs.
- Experience coordinating technicians, vendors, or a small crew.
- A valid driver's license, reliable personal vehicle, and personal tools.
- Ability to work independently and travel locally around Allentown.
- Availability for occasional urgent evening or weekend work.
