About the role
This full-time technician role is the quality inspector for building systems and facilities at Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport, overseeing contractor work on offices, mechanical equipment, and building maintenance. You'll be the technical expert responsible for ensuring maintenance work meets standards, tracking what's been done, and helping identify when and how to improve building conditions. The position balances office work—documenting maintenance, analyzing reports, planning work—with regular site inspections and direct coordination with contractors and building teams.
What you’ll do
- Monitor preventive maintenance schedules across all building systems and verify work is completed on time
- Inspect contractor work quality and approve or reject maintenance interventions based on standards
- Write detailed inspection reports and maintain control documentation for all maintenance activities
- Measure and track performance metrics on preventive and corrective maintenance completion
- Review contractor quotes and technical diagnoses before work begins
- Identify technical solutions and coordinate small maintenance projects from approval through completion
- Support handover procedures and reception of completed renovation or expansion work
- Track facility improvement (CAPEX) needs and prepare requirements for planning budgets

- High school diploma in building technology (BAC Pro) or equivalent technical qualification
- Minimum three years in building maintenance oversight, quality control, or similar technical roles
- Broad knowledge of building systems, mechanical equipment, and construction methods
- Strong written and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency with office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Valid driver's license
- Technical documentation skills and familiarity with compliance requirements
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience diagnosing building system failures and proposing solutions
- Knowledge of GMAO software, particularly ARCHIBUS
- Experience managing maintenance work at large facilities or complex buildings
- Familiarity with building pathology or structural assessment
