What you’ll do
- Lead architecture, development, and modernization of scalable enterprise data platforms for procurement analytics
- Define and help execute a multi-year data engineering strategy for scalability and reliability
- Design and build Azure-based data solutions using Databricks, Delta Lake, and Azure Data Factory
- Integrate and harmonize data across multiple ERP systems into common enterprise data models
- Partner with procurement analysts, architects, and business stakeholders on data products
- Establish engineering standards, conduct architecture reviews, and mentor engineers
- Identify AI-enabled approaches to improve data quality, documentation, and analyst productivity
What they’re looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
- 6+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or enterprise data platform development
- Proven experience architecting and modernizing scalable cloud-based data platforms
- Hands-on experience with Databricks, Delta Lake, Azure Data Factory, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python, with Spark or similar distributed processing experience
- Experience integrating and harmonizing data from multiple ERP systems
- Experience with API integrations, REST services, authentication, and data governance
Nice to have
- Master's degree in a related technical field
- Experience supporting procurement, supply chain, manufacturing, or finance analytics
- Hands-on experience with SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, Oracle, JD Edwards, Infor, QAD, or Microsoft Dynamics
- Full-stack engineering experience including React, Next.js, and Vercel
- Experience using AI-assisted engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot or AI coding agents
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools
