About the role
This is an Engineering Manager role for an experienced software leader responsible for delivery within a product pod, based remotely in India. You'll act as the technical counterpart to the pod owner, shaping architecture, improving execution, and helping the team deliver maintainable software on predictable timelines.
What you’ll do
- Own engineering planning, estimation, and delivery for a product pod.
- Review product requirements and identify gaps, edge cases, and technical risks.
- Lead technical discussions and assess implementation approaches.
- Balance delivery speed, software quality, and technical debt.
- Set expectations for reviews, testing, documentation, observability, security, and coding standards.
- Drive root-cause analysis and prevent recurring production issues.
- Mentor engineers and build a culture of ownership.
- Coordinate with QA, design, DevOps, and other teams to remove blockers.
- Research technical options for the pod.

- Strong knowledge of software architecture and system design.
- Knowledge of cloud-native applications, preferably on AWS.

- A strong understanding of Agile product development.
- The ability to review code and technical designs.
- Strong planning, estimation, delivery, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- The ability to balance business priorities with engineering quality.
