What you’ll do
- Design, build, and optimize data pipelines using Power BI Premium, MS Fabric, and Databricks.
- Develop scalable semantic models, star schemas, and tabular models for enterprise analytics.
- Build Power BI datasets, dashboards, and reports aligned with business requirements.
- Implement data quality controls, lineage documentation, metadata standards, and observability metrics.
- Collaborate with business partners, data engineers, risk analysts, and architecture teams.
- Support workspace governance, performance tuning, and capacity optimization in Power BI Premium.
- Contribute to modernization of the Business Banking Credit Risk data architecture.
- Architect and refine lakehouse and medallion-based data structures.
What they’re looking for
- Ten or more years of experience in data engineering, BI development, or data and BI architecture roles.
- Seven or more years of hands-on experience with Power BI including DAX, M language, data modeling, and Premium capacities.
- Seven or more years of expert-level SQL experience with advanced querying, performance tuning, and stored procedures.
- Five or more years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric covering data engineering, data factory, lakehouse, warehouse, and KQL.
- Three or more years of experience with Databricks including PySpark, delta lake, notebooks, and workflow orchestration.
- Expert-level experience with data lake file formats: Parquet, Delta, ORC, and DuckDB.
- Understanding of dimensional modeling, semantic modeling, and data governance.
