About the role
This is a pre-sales solution engineering role focused on Master Data Management, supporting Salesforce's SMB segment on a fully remote basis in the US. It suits someone with technical sales or delivery experience in MDM who can run discovery calls, build demos and proofs of concept, and bridge conversations between MuleSoft and Informatica products. The role partners closely with account executives throughout the sales cycle rather than owning a book of accounts directly.
What you’ll do
- Partner with account executives to identify business value and qualify deals
- Run technical discovery to clarify MDM-specific requirements
- Deliver tailored demos, whiteboarding sessions and architecture workshops
- Build and deliver proofs of concept for MDM solutions
- Respond independently to RFI/RFP documents
- Collaborate with product management, engineering and marketing to improve MDM offerings
- Track trends across MDM, iPaaS and AI
What they’re looking for
- 5-7 years of technical sales or delivery experience with Master Data Management
- Understanding of identity and entity resolution, including deterministic vs probabilistic matching
- Experience with multi-domain data modeling, parent-child hierarchies and taxonomy design
- Familiarity with governance workflows, data stewardship and reference data
- Knowledge of headless MDM via REST APIs or MCP endpoints
- Experience building and delivering PoCs and responding to RFIs/RFPs independently
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or equivalent experience
- Strong presentation, discovery and communication skills
Nice to have
- Salesforce or Informatica certifications
- Previous SE or Sales Engineering experience
- Familiarity with MuleSoft and/or Informatica product portfolio
