This is a senior machine learning engineering role for an experienced ML practitioner working in Bengaluru on Roku's advertising data systems. What you’ll do
- Develop ML models and data pipelines for identity, graph enrichment, audience segmentation, and campaign intelligence.
- Run experiments and translate results into product decisions.
- Build reporting, campaign-monitoring, and natural-language analytics agents.
- Improve model training, feature engineering, deployment, and monitoring systems.
- Deliver end-to-end solutions from data ingestion through downstream systems.
- Help shape ML and generative AI strategy for advertising data activation.
- Set context for AI coding agents, verify their outputs, and recover when needed.

- Have a master's degree or higher and at least four years of relevant technical experience.
- Apply strong computer science fundamentals to production systems.

- Define KPIs, objective functions, and evaluation frameworks.
- Program in Python, Scala, Java, C, C++, or a similar language.
- Use large-scale platforms such as Spark, Presto, Trino, feature stores, or data lakes.
- Build or integrate LLM and generative AI pipelines involving prompting, retrieval, evaluation, and safety.
- Demonstrate fluency with agentic development tools and frameworks.
