About the role
This is a senior Machine Learning Engineer role delivering production AI and machine-learning systems for Quantiphi's Healthcare and Life Sciences unit. You'll lead end-to-end implementation across machine learning, deep learning, NLP, generative AI, and MLOps while remaining hands-on with code. The role is based in Mumbai, Bengaluru, or Trivandrum, India.
What you’ll do
- Own technical delivery of ML projects from implementation through operationalization.
- Spend 50% to 75% of your time coding, prototyping, and designing system components.
- Build RAG pipelines and agentic workflows using current AI frameworks.
- Design MLOps pipelines with testing, registries, monitoring, retraining, and drift detection.
- Create architecture diagrams and explain technical trade-offs.
- Review code, mentor engineers, and lead client technical discussions.
What they’re looking for
- Six to eight years of professional experience in machine learning, deep learning, and software engineering.
- Advanced Python and SQL skills.
- Experience with statistical ML, deep learning architectures, and NLP.
- Experience deploying generative AI and LLM applications.
- Strong PyTorch or TensorFlow capability.
- Experience with cloud MLOps tools such as MLflow, Kubeflow, SageMaker Pipelines, or Airflow.
- Ability to design scalable AI systems and communicate architecture clearly.
Nice to have
- Experience with vector databases such as Pinecone, Milvus, Chroma, or Qdrant.
- Experience with agentic frameworks including Google ADK, LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, AutoGen, or LangGraph.
- Understanding of Model Context Protocol implementations.
