About the role
This is an Analytics Manager role at Riley Children's Foundation, leading business intelligence programs and dashboard strategy for a nonprofit fundraising organization. It suits someone with several years of BI and analytics experience who wants to own reporting standards, data storytelling and stakeholder communication rather than just build dashboards. The role reports into the analytics leadership and works closely with a Reporting Manager and an AVP of Business Intelligence & Data Strategy.
What you’ll do
- Own the analytics request queue and support technical issues with BI applications
- Set standards, documentation and governance processes for business intelligence outputs
- Design, build and maintain dashboards and reports as decision-support tools
- Translate complex data into executive-level data stories and recommendations
- Partner with the Reporting Manager to build queries and reports using SQL and SSRS
- Guide predictive and advanced analytical model development by defining use cases and validation
- Perform proactive and ad-hoc analyses to answer business questions

- Bachelor's degree required
- 5-7 years of experience in analytics or a related field
- Understanding of relational databases
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proven problem-solving, critical thinking and analytical skills
- Strong Microsoft Office proficiency, especially Word, Excel and Outlook
Nice to have
- Experience designing and implementing BI solutions
- SQL Server or database querying experience
- Experience with SSRS and predictive analytics
- Experience with SharePoint
