This is a mid-level full-time frontend engineering role in Hyderabad for someone with at least two years of experience shipping React and TypeScript applications. You will build responsive collaborative interfaces for Plane, including local-first views, offline behavior, editors and reusable design components. What you’ll do
- Own user-facing surfaces from design review through production release.
- Extend local-first synchronization and conflict-resolution behavior.
- Improve rendering, virtualization and browser memory use for large workspaces.
- Build offline capabilities with IndexedDB and service workers.
- Create and maintain shared UI components and design-system elements.
- Review community pull requests and work with distributed teammates.
- Diagnose visual and behavioral issues across browsers, devices and self-hosted deployments.

- A track record of delivering production React and TypeScript applications.
- Strong understanding of client-side state and reactivity.
- Experience with CSS and responsive, accessible interface construction.
- Ability to reason about local and global state architectures.
- Experience building or maintaining component libraries or design systems.

Nice to have
- MobX, Redux or Zustand experience.
- Experience profiling frontend loading and interaction performance.
- ProseMirror, Lexical, Tiptap or CodeMirror experience.
- Background with offline-first systems or CRDTs.
- Experience contributing to open-source projects.
- Knowledge of interfaces for AI-agent actions and attribution.
