About the role
This is a principal-level architecture role at Micron, focused on building agentic AI systems for engineering and manufacturing. You'll design multi-agent platforms that can reason, investigate, and recommend fixes for triage and root-cause analysis, based in Hyderabad. The role suits an experienced architect who has shipped generative AI and agent-based systems in a large enterprise setting.
What you’ll do
- Define end-to-end architecture for intelligent triage and root-cause-analysis platforms
- Architect multi-agent systems capable of autonomous reasoning and investigation
- Drive AI-powered workflow adoption across engineering and manufacturing teams
- Design autonomous RCA workflows combining LLMs, domain knowledge, and telemetry
- Establish human-in-the-loop frameworks for safe AI deployment
- Define AI evaluation, monitoring, and feedback loops
- Architect integrations across data platforms, engineering tools, and manufacturing systems
- Define APIs, microservices, and orchestration and deployment strategies
- Lead architecture reviews and technology selection
- Mentor engineering teams and set standards for MLOps and AgentOps
What they’re looking for
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, AI/ML or related field
- 10+ years of experience in software or solution architecture or enterprise platforms
- Hands-on experience designing AI/ML and enterprise software solutions
- Expertise in generative AI, LLMs, agentic AI frameworks, RAG/GraphRAG, and knowledge graphs
- Experience with cloud-native architecture, distributed systems, and API/microservices design
- Familiarity with MLOps/AIOps practices
Nice to have
- Experience in semiconductor engineering, validation, manufacturing, or quality systems
- Experience building AI copilots or autonomous agent platforms
- Familiarity with Claude, OpenAI, Azure AI, NVIDIA AI, LangGraph, LangChain, CrewAI, or AutoGen
- Track record delivering enterprise AI transformation initiatives
