About the role
This is a remote full-stack engineering role for a developer who can own marketplace features from product problem through release. The position is associated with Boulder, Colorado, but the team works remotely and mostly asynchronously. You will build customer-facing and operational systems for Jawa’s gaming marketplace.
What you’ll do
- Build marketplace interfaces with TypeScript and Next.js.
- Extend TypeScript API controllers and PostgreSQL-backed services.
- Ship changes, review code, and help respond to outages.
- Turn broad product direction into delivered features and improvements.
- Work on areas such as checkout, listings, search, inventory, and internal operations.
What they’re looking for
- At least four years in a comparable engineering role, with emphasis on demonstrated ownership.
- Ability to take work from specification through production without close supervision.
- Production TypeScript debugging and deployment experience.
- Familiarity with Next.js, PostgreSQL, Git, and CI/CD.
- Strong written communication and product judgment.
- Comfort using AI coding tools thoughtfully.
Nice to have
- Networking or operations experience.
- Docker or production-environment configuration experience.
- Experience with observability tools such as Grafana.
- E-commerce, marketplace, Stripe, search, or inventory-system experience.
- Interest in gaming, PC building, or tinkering.
