What you’ll do
- Design scalable, secure Web3 and blockchain architectures
- Lead technical design of dApps, smart contracts, protocols, wallets and token ecosystems
- Evaluate blockchain networks such as Ethereum, Layer 2s, Solana and Cosmos
- Define architecture for on-chain and off-chain components and APIs
- Set smart contract development standards and security practices
- Establish coding guidelines and architecture principles across the team
- Review smart contracts, integrations and infrastructure designs
- Mitigate risks around smart contract vulnerabilities, key management and gas optimization
- Drive integrations with wallets, exchanges, oracles and bridges
- Evaluate emerging technologies such as DeFi, NFTs, DAOs and zero-knowledge proofs
- Work with security teams on threat modeling and audits
- Run proofs of concept to validate new blockchain approaches
What they’re looking for
- 5-10 years of overall software engineering experience with significant blockchain/Web3 experience
- Experience designing enterprise-grade blockchain or Web3 architectures
- Strong understanding of Ethereum and EVM architecture, consensus and smart contracts
- Strong hands-on Solidity experience
- Understanding of smart contract security and common vulnerabilities
- Experience designing on-chain/off-chain architectures and distributed systems
- Experience integrating wallets, exchanges, oracles and Web3 APIs
- Strong understanding of cryptography and blockchain security concepts
- Experience with cloud platforms and containerization
- Experience leading or mentoring engineering teams
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering or related field

- Experience with Rust, Go, Solana, Cosmos, Substrate, Layer 2s or ZK technologies
