This is a senior individual-contributor strategy and analytics role at Faire, based on-site in New York City or San Francisco. It suits an experienced analytics professional who wants to drive product and business decisions through data rather than manage a team. The role partners across Product, Sales, Operations, Marketing and Finance to turn ambiguous problems into concrete recommendations.
What you’ll do
- Break down complex, ambiguous strategic problems into actionable insights
- Tackle cross-functional initiatives that move company metrics
- Develop hypotheses, run analyses and present recommendations to leadership
- Own key business metrics and surface strategic insights that drive them
- Advise cross-functional teams on using data effectively
- Build scalable operational processes and fill operational gaps
- Improve the Strategy & Analytics team's processes, training and coaching
What they’re looking for
- 8+ years of experience in an analytical and strategic role across product analytics, consulting, or business operations
- Strong first-principles problem-solving ability
- Highly analytical, metrics-focused approach with experience defining KPIs and sizing opportunities
- Strong communication skills for translating data into insights for any audience
- Solid product and business intuition
- Proficiency with SQL or Excel for analyzing large datasets
