About the role
This is a senior, remote engineering role at Pearl building AI-powered analytics products for business users, based in India. You'd design conversational analytics tools, semantic data models, and production AI agents that let people query enterprise data in natural language. It's suited to an experienced analytics engineer who has already shipped LLM-based applications and wants to set the technical direction for AI in analytics.
What you’ll do
- Build AI-powered analytics tools with conversational, natural-language interfaces
- Design semantic data models and reusable analytics products for LLM use
- Develop and deploy LLM-powered agents and agentic workflows using RAG and MCP
- Build data pipelines, APIs and backend services in Python and SQL
- Evaluate and optimize AI models and prompts for reliability and accuracy
- Mentor others as the team's analytics AI subject matter expert
What they’re looking for
- 8+ years across analytics engineering, BI, data engineering, or AI, including 5+ years in analytics engineering
- 3+ years building end-to-end AI solutions for analytics
- Strong Python and SQL skills
- Hands-on experience building production LLM applications
- Experience with an agentic AI framework such as LangGraph, CrewAI or AutoGen
- Understanding of RAG, tool calling, prompt engineering and AI evaluation
- Experience integrating AI with enterprise APIs and cloud platforms, Azure preferred
Nice to have
- Experience building enterprise analytics copilots
- Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, Azure AI Foundry, Power BI, Databricks or Snowflake
- Knowledge of vector databases and semantic search
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD
