About the role
This is a lead AI engineering role for someone with at least six years of experience, working onsite in Bangalore. What you’ll do
- Build and evaluate agricultural speech-recognition systems.
- Create multilingual transcription, diarization, noise-handling, and accent-robustness pipelines.
- Develop computer vision models for crops, livestock, and field conditions.
- Process farmer-submitted images and video affected by blur, low light, noise, and varied camera angles.
- Test models against adversarial inputs, spoofing, and data leakage risks.
- Implement validation, content filtering, and anomaly detection for media submissions.
- Define evaluation strategies for speech and vision features.
- Mentor engineers on model evaluation, fine-tuning, and deployment.
- Partner with backend, DevOps, product, and field teams.
- Optimize models through quantization, pruning, or distillation for edge deployment.

- Bring at least six years of hands-on AI/ML, data science, or software engineering experience.
- Hold a bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degree in a relevant technical field.
- Have deep experience deploying computer vision and speech/audio systems.
- Work with ASR models and multilingual audio processing.
- Develop computer vision systems for classification, detection, or enhancement.
- Use Python and frameworks such as PyTorch, OpenCV, torchaudio, or Librosa.
- Build evaluation harnesses, benchmarks, and QA tools for perception models.
- Communicate effectively and collaborate across disciplines.
Nice to have
- Have built internal evaluation, testing, or data pipeline tools.
- Have contributed to open-source computer vision or speech frameworks.
- Have deployed models with Triton, TorchServe, TensorRT, or similar systems.
