About the role
This is a data engineering role at connectFirst Credit Union, working on the data warehouse, pipelines and analytics infrastructure that supports Servus Credit Union's members in Alberta. What you’ll do
- Expand and optimize the data warehouse architecture alongside the IS Architecture team
- Design and build data pipelines and integrations
- Extract, transform and load structured, unstructured and big data from varied sources
- Build analytics tools and improve data models feeding business intelligence
- Monitor data quality, availability and ecosystem performance
- Lead projects, follow DevOps practices and mentor others on data engineering

- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field
- 4+ years' experience in data engineering, Python or Java, SQL, and data modeling
- Experience with Agile methods and machine learning tools
- Ability to lead teams and work independently
- Must pass a criminal background check, reference check and credit check
