What you’ll do
- Design, develop and maintain SSAS Multidimensional and Tabular models
- Write and optimize complex MDX queries and calculations
- Develop DAX measures and calculated columns for Tabular models and Power BI
- Design and maintain star and snowflake dimensional data models
- Build and maintain ETL pipelines using SSIS
- Develop SSRS reports and Power BI dashboards
- Conduct SSAS performance tuning, including partition design and aggregation optimization
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and translate reporting requirements
- Support SSAS model upgrades and migrations, including moves to Tabular or Azure Analysis Services
- Produce technical documentation for cube design and ETL specifications

- 7-10 years of BI development experience with deep SSAS and MDX expertise in production environments
- Expert-level SSAS Multidimensional proficiency including cube and dimension design
- Strong MDX skills including calculated members and scoped assignments
- Solid SSAS Tabular experience with DAX measures and relationships
- Advanced T-SQL and SQL Server skills
- Strong dimensional modelling expertise including slowly changing dimensions
- Solid SSIS ETL pipeline experience
- Good Power BI report and dashboard development skills
- Strong analytical and stakeholder communication skills
