About the role
This is an onsite Software Engineer II role in Bengaluru for an engineer who builds the production systems behind computer-vision, NLP and multimodal models. You will own the infrastructure that takes AI work from research experiments to dependable services for automated construction takeoff and estimation. The role combines MLOps, deployment, observability and backend-oriented engineering.
What you’ll do
- Manage the MLOps lifecycle from packaging and continuous delivery through deployment, monitoring and rollback.
- Build scalable training and inference pipelines for large models and datasets.
- Operate Docker and Kubernetes infrastructure for deep-learning and geoprocessing services.
- Maintain experiment tracking, model registries and version control for reproducible AI development.
- Add drift detection, performance alerts, logging and dashboards for production models.
- Apply quantization, pruning and knowledge distillation to improve inference efficiency.
- Work with research, backend and product teams to turn models into production services.
- Maintain infrastructure-as-code, monitoring and logging.
- Improve system reliability, scale, latency and cost efficiency.

- Strong Python skills and familiarity with PyTorch, TensorFlow, OpenCV or Hugging Face.
- Experience with computer vision, NLP or multimodal models.

- Knowledge of cloud platforms including AWS, GCP or Azure.
- Familiarity with Temporal, Kafka, Git and Terraform.
- Ability to operate and improve production AI systems.
