About the role
This is a hybrid Toronto contract for a platform support specialist maintaining Cognos, Tableau and Power BI analytics platforms. It suits someone experienced in platform-level administration rather than report development, covering infrastructure, upgrades and access management. You'll ensure the availability and performance of these BI platforms across cloud and on-prem environments for development, testing and production.
What you’ll do
- Administer and maintain Cognos, Tableau and Power BI platforms including upgrades, patches and license management
- Monitor and manage platforms across cloud and on-prem environments
- Ensure high availability and reliability across development, testing and production
- Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams on compliance and configuration
- Provide production support and troubleshoot platform-related issues
- Document platform configurations, procedures and support runbooks

- Hands-on experience with Cognos Data Integration and Cognos administration
- Experience with Power BI and Tableau administration
- Infrastructure and Unix experience
