This is a Software Development Engineer II role on Amazon's Competitive Monitoring team within Worldwide Pricing and Promotions. What you’ll do
- Productionize and maintain ML models, deploying them and ensuring ongoing reliability
- Monitor model health and data drift, building algorithms to detect performance issues
- Partner with scientists to streamline the path from development to deployment
- Build observability and alerting infrastructure to monitor and trace AI model outputs
- Own the full stack from APIs and interfaces to backend systems

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- Experience programming in at least one software language
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
Nice to have
- 4+ years building large-scale ML infrastructure for recommendation, ads ranking, personalization or search
- Knowledge of ML and LLM fundamentals including transformer architecture and training/inference lifecycles
