About the role
This is a remote senior business analyst role at UnitedHealth Group, based out of Minnetonka, Minnesota, focused on production support and requirements work in a healthcare technology environment. What you’ll do
- Manage and triage incident tickets received during production season
- Work with the dev team and stakeholders to identify and resolve production defects
- Review and approve requirements against standards
- Assist the development team in refining the backlog
- Review, reconcile, and troubleshoot data
- Translate business partner requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria
- Write, maintain, and execute test cases for enhancements
- Facilitate user acceptance and end-to-end testing with stakeholders
- Support multiple projects and products
What they’re looking for
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role
- 3+ years of experience in the healthcare industry with understanding of medical terminology and clinical care
- 2+ years of experience in agile methodology and tools
- 2+ years of demonstrated project support for multiple projects or products
- 1+ years of experience writing and analyzing SQL/T-SQL code
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite including Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint
- Demonstrated problem-solving and leadership skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must reside in the US
Nice to have
- Intermediate experience with User Interface applications
- Experience with Tableau and data visualization
- Experience with AI tools and agents to enhance productivity
- Knowledge of HEDIS or other national health care quality reporting standards
- Solid leadership and interpersonal skills
