About the role
This is an onsite applied AI engineering role in Bengaluru for a mid-career software or solutions engineer with at least three years of experience. You'll deliver agentic and generative AI features that improve internal workflows, working with business stakeholders and operating within enterprise security, privacy, and governance requirements. The position combines hands-on implementation with backlog ownership, user enablement, testing, and production support.
What you’ll do
- Build copilots, summarization, classification, routing, and question-answering features.
- Develop internal-knowledge agents using retrieval-augmented generation.
- Improve retrieval quality and design conversational flows with escalation and human handoff.
- Create simple agentic or predictive models for operational use cases.
- Work with business users on requirements, demos, feedback, and adoption.
- Manage a small AI product area's backlog, user stories, acceptance criteria, UAT, and releases.
- Run evaluation and regression checks using approved processes.
- Track quality, latency, and cost after deployment.
- Write guides, runbooks, and user-enablement materials.
- Troubleshoot pilots and support production adoption.

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Availability for full-time onsite work in Bengaluru and travel of up to 25%.
Nice to have
- Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, or similar agent frameworks.
- Exposure to simple agentic or predictive models.
- Familiarity with newer generative AI techniques.
