About the role
This is a fully remote, full-time role at System Six, a 65-person remote cloud-accounting firm, building AI automations and data infrastructure for the business. It suits a hands-on builder with several years of experience combining Power BI dashboard engineering with AI/low-code automation tools like Claude, Zapier and Make. The person in this role owns the company's Power BI dashboards, underlying data pipelines, and builds new automations across the firm.
What you’ll do
- Own and maintain Power BI dashboards and their underlying data pipelines, Python scripts and SQL cron jobs
- Own the monthly margin and quarterly profit-share data process, coordinating data across time tracking, financials and payroll
- Build and maintain automations across the company using tools like Claude, Zapier and Make
- Document your work and support teammates in understanding the solutions you build
What they’re looking for
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with AI automations and data inside a B2B business
- Power BI expertise including data pipelines, Python, SQL, DAX, row-level security and database design
- Proven workflow automation experience with AI and low-code tools such as Claude, Zapier and Make
- Advanced Excel skills including structured tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP and pivot tables
- Strong data governance skills
Nice to have
- Basic accounting literacy, including familiarity with chart of accounts and GL structure
