About the role
This is an onsite AI Engineer role in Bengaluru for an engineer building LLM features, intelligent agents and backend services for a telecom SaaS platform. You will help automate connectivity management, billing and telecom operations through production AI applications. The role combines generative AI, retrieval, API development and cloud delivery.
What you’ll do
- Build and deploy AI features and intelligent agents.
- Create backend services and APIs for AI applications.
- Implement retrieval, prompt-engineering and vector-search systems.
- Connect LLMs to internal products and third-party services.
- Improve AI systems for performance, reliability and cost.
- Work with product, engineering and infrastructure teams on production delivery.
- Monitor, evaluate and improve AI systems after deployment.
- Apply current generative-AI practices to telecom and SaaS products.

- Python and generative-AI development experience.
- Knowledge of LLMs, NLP, machine learning and AI agents.
- Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, RAG and vector databases.
- Backend development using FastAPI and REST APIs.
- Experience with embeddings and prompt engineering.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, cloud platforms and MLOps.
- Understanding of SQL, NoSQL, Git and CI/CD.
- Interest in SaaS, telecom or IoT systems.
