About the role
This is a remote software engineering role for a consumer-product engineer working on Netflix's TV user interface across the United States. You'll build React and TypeScript features for connected TVs and streaming devices, partnering with product, design, algorithms, and engineering teams to improve discovery and viewing experiences.
What you’ll do
- Build UI features for Netflix's TV application on performance- and memory-constrained devices.
- Collaborate with product, design, algorithm, and engineering partners.
- Use customer experiments and A/B tests to evaluate product decisions.
- Develop within a TypeScript and JavaScript codebase using React and Redux.
- Write testable code and automation with test engineers.
- Lead large cross-functional projects and make thoughtful technical trade-offs.
