About the role
This is a full-time hybrid Founding AI Engineer role in Bengaluru for an engineer who can build conversational intelligence systems from the model layer through production infrastructure. You’ll own LLM pipelines, retrieval systems, and inference optimization for a seed-stage wearable technology startup. The role combines hands-on model engineering with production ML ownership and close work with product and engineering.
What you’ll do
- Design and build end-to-end LLM pipelines for conversational AI.
- Develop and deploy production RAG systems with vector databases.
- Optimize inference for latency, memory use, and cost, including GPU-level improvements.
- Own model serving, monitoring, reliability, and other production ML systems.
- Work with product and engineering teams to deliver AI features.

- Strong knowledge of LLMs, RAG, vector databases, and Transformers.
- Hands-on PyTorch experience.
- Experience with model optimization and MLOps.
