About the role
This is a remote Software Engineer, Agents role with MoonPay in the United States, focused on taking its PayBox product through its next stage of development. You will build payment, transfer and integration experiences that let AI agents connect with wallets, applications and financial services without exposing users' underlying credentials. The role is intended for a highly autonomous generalist who can move from product definition through production delivery and refinement.
What you’ll do
- Own significant PayBox features from problem definition through launch and iteration.
- Build payment and peer-to-peer transfer experiences for AI-driven interfaces.
- Create integrations across AI platforms, applications and the wider PayBox ecosystem.
- Develop infrastructure and product capabilities for onboarding new integrations.
- Partner with Product to turn broad ideas into simple user experiences.
- Improve onboarding and remove friction from the customer journey.
- Make pragmatic technical and product decisions in ambiguous situations.
- Work across the stack wherever the highest-impact problem requires attention.
- Use AI tools extensively while retaining responsibility for technical judgement and output quality.
