About the role
This is a mid-level full stack engineering role for building Mem0’s developer-facing AI memory platform remotely from India. You’ll deliver product features across Next.js and React interfaces, Python services, APIs, databases and production infrastructure. The role suits an engineer with at least three years of experience who can own features from design and testing through deployment and operations.
What you’ll do
- Build end-to-end features across the web platform and backend services.
- Improve frontend rendering and API response times.
- Write unit, integration and type tests.
- Work with founders, designers and research teams on agent-memory capabilities.
- Monitor production systems and resolve operational issues.
- Use developer feedback to improve APIs and onboarding.
What they’re looking for
- At least three years of professional full stack development experience.
- Production experience with Next.js, React and Python.
- Strong PostgreSQL, Redis and asynchronous queue skills.
- Knowledge of component design, state management and server-side rendering.
- TypeScript, static typing and unit or integration testing experience.
- Ownership of features across development and operations.
- Strong written and verbal remote-collaboration skills.
- A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related technical field.
Nice to have
- LLM APIs, embeddings, vector databases or RAG.
- WebSockets or server actions.
- Docker and AWS, GCP or Vercel.
- Experience in an early-stage venture-backed startup.
