About the role
This is a remote professional services engineering role for someone who builds and evaluates production AI agents for enterprise customers. You'll advise, co-build, or embed with customer engineering teams to turn ambiguous workflows into deployed agent systems. The role is open remotely to candidates worldwide and includes customer-facing technical work.
What you’ll do
- Advise customers on agent architecture, evaluation strategy, and production practices.
- Build agent systems with customer engineering teams across the full development lifecycle.
- Embed with customer organizations for extended delivery engagements.
- Design orchestration, memory, evaluation, conversational UI, and deployment solutions.
- Apply post-training, fine-tuning, trace mining, model selection, and evaluation techniques.
- Explain and defend technical architecture decisions to customer stakeholders.
What they’re looking for
- At least 4 years of software engineering experience with deep Python expertise.
- At least 2 years building and shipping production agent systems.
- Strong communication skills with engineers, architects, and CTOs.
- Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, Deep Agents, or comparable frameworks.
- Knowledge of multi-agent patterns, state management, and short- and long-term memory.
- Experience designing evaluations for non-deterministic AI systems.
- Comfort moving between advisory work and embedded delivery.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
Nice to have
- Experience curating datasets or using SFT, DPO, RLHF, Axolotl, Unsloth, Hugging Face Transformers, or TRL.
- Experience using trace mining for continuous improvement.
