About the role
This is a hybrid Machine Learning Engineer role in Bengaluru for an engineer building models from radar and other sensor data. You will develop and productionize systems for fall detection, vital-sign monitoring and predictive health insights in a remote-care platform. The role is suited to someone comfortable with classical machine learning, noisy data and safety-sensitive evaluation.
What you’ll do
- Build XGBoost, ensemble, anomaly-detection and time-series models.
- Create features from radar signals, point clouds and sensor streams.
- Contribute to pose, skeleton, movement and activity estimation from radar data.
- Build Databricks pipelines for training, evaluation and inference.
- Explore resident, device, alert and facility data to find patterns and edge cases.
- Evaluate precision, recall, sensitivity, specificity, false alarms, missed events and detection latency.
- Analyze production behavior across facilities, residents, devices and time periods.
- Handle missing values, label problems, device variation and sparse events.
- Write modular, tested Python for training, evaluation, feature engineering and inference.
- Deploy, monitor and improve models in production.
- Work with hardware and data engineering teams on data quality and observability.
