About the role
Jacuzzi Bath Remodel is hiring an onsite Director of Learning and Development in Roselle, Illinois to lead operations training and workforce-development programs. This director-level role suits a senior training leader who has built scalable programs for manufacturing, installation, field, distribution, or skilled-trades teams. The director will establish training standards, career pathways, certifications, and capability-building systems across the business.
What you’ll do
- Set the operations training and workforce-development strategy.
- Create installer career pathways, certification standards, and recertification processes.
- Build curricula, playbooks, SOPs, work instructions, and skills matrices.
- Lead technical, field, virtual, classroom, and leadership learning programs.
- Manage and develop installation trainers.
- Conduct field audits and ride-alongs to identify capability gaps.
- Partner with operations, engineering, quality, safety, HR, and continuous-improvement teams.
- Manage training budgets, resources, tools, and readiness for expansion.
What they’re looking for
- Bring at least ten years of experience in operations training, manufacturing, installation, workforce development, operational leadership, or technical training.
- Have demonstrated experience creating training programs from the ground up.
- Understand adult learning principles and performance-based coaching.
- Know operational environments such as manufacturing, construction, service, distribution, installation, or skilled trades.
- Have led and developed teams and established training metrics and performance tracking.
- Be able to travel to support field teams and training initiatives.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in business, operations, education, construction management, or a related field.
- Experience with ERP, LMS, or training platforms.
- Spanish-English bilingual ability.
