This is a senior AI product engineering role that can be done remotely within India, with an optional Ahmedabad office connection. You will ship complete AI product features across data pipelines, models, APIs, and user interfaces, often within one to three weeks. The role suits an engineer with four to seven years of experience and at least one production AI or ML feature delivered to users.
What you’ll do
- Ship vertical-slice AI features across data, models, APIs, and product interfaces.
- Build LLM workflows for scoring, recommendations, and anomaly detection.
- Create reproducible explanations and audit trails for AI-generated scores.
- Develop labeling, agreement, A/B testing, and regression-gate systems.
- Translate product specifications into software with the founder and AI Product Lead.
- Integrate the Capture, Signal, Recommendation, and Action layers.
- Use AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate development and testing.

- Four to seven years of software engineering experience.
- At least one AI or ML feature shipped to production.
- Strong Python, TypeScript, or Node.js skills.
- Solid SQL, API design, system architecture, and data-modeling fundamentals.
- Hands-on prompt engineering, RAG, agentic patterns, and model evaluation.
- Experience with Azure Functions, Static Web Apps, and Azure AI Services.
Nice to have
- Early-stage, founder-led startup experience.
- Alignment with privacy-first and anti-surveillance product principles.
- Technical writing through RFCs, ADRs, and specifications.
- Hindi or Gujarati language skills.
- HNSW indexing or AgentDB experience.
- Vue 3 frontend experience.
