About the role
This is an on-site produce clerk position at FreshCo's Sahali location in Kamloops, British Columbia, for someone comfortable with grocery retail work. You'll stock and maintain fruit, vegetables, plants, and bulk foods while helping customers and keeping the department safe and orderly. The work is permanent and part time, with regular lifting, standing, bending, and product handling.
What you’ll do
- Arrange produce displays and move stock from cool storage.
- Remove damaged, expired, or poor-quality items.
- Check inventory and replenish merchandise.
- Help unload produce deliveries.
- Clean and disinfect counters, floors, sinks, displays, storage areas, and equipment.
- Greet customers and respond to their requests.
- Use knives to trim produce safely.
