About the role
This is a contract solution architect role leading enterprise AWS cloud migration and Agentic AI initiatives for a financial services client, staffed through Experis. It suits a senior architect with deep AWS migration experience who can also evaluate emerging AI capabilities, based in Toronto with hybrid on-site expectations for local candidates. The role sits within the client's Enterprise Architecture group, partnering across business units on cloud transformation.
What you’ll do
- Lead solution architecture for enterprise-scale AWS migration initiatives
- Design and maintain architecture frameworks, standards, and governance artifacts
- Drive AWS Connect implementations and enterprise platform integrations
- Collaborate with business leaders, engineering, infrastructure, and security stakeholders
- Provide technical leadership through architecture reviews, risk assessments, and design workshops
- Evaluate and incorporate Agentic AI capabilities into solution architectures
What they’re looking for
- 8+ years of experience in Solution Architecture, including leading AWS cloud migration initiatives
- Strong expertise designing secure, scalable, resilient cloud architectures
- Hands-on experience with AWS Connect, API integrations, microservices, and cloud-native technologies
- Proven ability to engage and influence stakeholders across business and technology functions
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills
Nice to have
- AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, Professional, or equivalent)
- Experience supporting large-scale enterprise transformation in regulated industries
- Exposure to AI/ML or Agentic AI frameworks and enterprise AI solution design
