About the role
This is a newly created executive role at Digital Health Canada, the national association for digital health professionals, leading growth strategy and partnerships across the country. It suits a senior relationship-builder from healthcare or an adjacent sector who can operate remotely across Canada with periodic travel. The VP reports to the CEO and is tasked with expanding revenue, partnerships and the organization's national influence.
What you’ll do
- Identify emerging markets and growth opportunities aligned with the organization's priorities
- Build business cases for new programs, services and events
- Develop strategic alliances with healthcare organizations, governments, academic institutions and private-sector partners
- Act as a senior ambassador for the organization nationally
- Manage and retain relationships with partners and sponsors
- Track policy shifts, funding directions and sector trends to inform strategy
- Work with the CEO and leadership team on organizational strategy and succession planning
What they’re looking for
- Progressive experience in business development, partnerships or stakeholder engagement in healthcare or an adjacent sector
- Strong understanding of Canadian healthcare, digital health and health policy
- Demonstrated success generating revenue, partnerships or strategic alliances
- Strong executive presence and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work remotely with a private workspace, wifi and phone
Nice to have
- Experience with associations, not-for-profits or member organizations
- Familiarity with federal or provincial health systems and policy processes in Canada
- Established executive relationships across healthcare, government, vendors, academia or innovation sectors
- Experience working with boards or governance environments
- Bilingual in English and French
What’s on offer
- Salary range of $130,000-$180,000
