This fully remote engineering role designs, supports, and optimizes secure network connectivity across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments. What you’ll do
- Design, configure, and maintain network connectivity spanning cloud, hybrid, and legacy environments.
- Monitor system latency, throughput, and availability to identify reliability risks.
- Investigate and resolve network incidents across applications, infrastructure, and cloud services.
- Maintain network diagrams, address inventories, and configuration baselines in approved repositories.
- Plan and execute approved network changes through formal control procedures.
- Produce monthly reporting inputs covering connectivity, capacity, and incident trends.
What they’re looking for
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent professional experience.
- At least five years of experience in network or cloud infrastructure engineering.
- Demonstrated ability to design, configure, and troubleshoot enterprise networks.
- Strong grasp of routing, TCP/IP, firewalls, load balancing, and virtual networks.
- Hands-on proficiency with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or comparable cloud platforms.
- Experience with ITSM processes including change management, incident response, and root cause analysis.
Nice to have
- Background working in government or heavily regulated industries.
- Willingness to pass a government-issued background investigation.
