About the role

This is a full-time remote SDET role for an India-based quality engineer with experience building automation frameworks. You will create test infrastructure and automated coverage for Jitterbit's front-end and back-end integration platform. The work involves TypeScript or Python-based testing, API validation, and CI/CD integration with a distributed engineering team.

What you’ll do

  • Design and evolve scalable test automation frameworks.
  • Build automated tests and reporting tools for continuous delivery.
  • Integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Test APIs, integrations, databases, CRM and ERP endpoints, and cloud services.
  • Work with agile engineering and DevOps teams to improve testing feedback loops.
  • Evaluate new automated-testing approaches and tools.

  • At least 4 years as a Software Engineer in Test.
  • Experience building scalable automation frameworks.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or comparable languages.
  • Experience with tools such as Node.js, WebdriverIO, Selenium, or PyTest.
  • Experience in Agile or Scrum teams.
  • Exposure to SaaS or cloud-platform testing.
  • Hands-on REST or SOAP API testing and JSON or XML validation.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Angular, Jasmine, or Mocha.
  • Experience with Postman, Docker, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, JMeter, npm, or yarn.
  • Experience using AI tools to improve testing or engineering productivity.
  • Experience testing databases, CRM systems, or ERP integrations.
