About the role
This is a full stack application development role at IBM Consulting, building cloud-native applications on AWS. It suits a developer with 5-10 years of experience, based on-site in Hyderabad, working within an IBM Consulting FutureNow Center.
What you’ll do
- Design and develop rich UI applications using SPAs or microfrontends with ReactJS or Angular
- Develop scalable backend microservices based on 12-factor principles using Java, NodeJS or Python
- Implement cloud-native CI/CD pipelines for change release
- Run and manage AWS services including PaaS, content delivery, routing, databases and observability tools
- Implement DevSecOps practices using AWS CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, CodePipeline and CodeCommit

- 5-10 years of experience
- Experience with cloud-native, resilient application development and microservices-based design
- Full stack development experience with ReactJS, Angular, Spring Boot, Java, NodeJS or Python
- Experience managing AWS services such as EKS, ECS, Fargate, Lambda, CloudFront, API Gateway and CloudWatch
- Experience implementing cloud-native CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with event-driven architecture using Kafka, SQS, SNS or Kinesis Streams
- Bachelor's degree
Nice to have
- Exposure to Quarkus, Django or Express.js
- Knowledge of modern No-SQL modelling techniques
- Exposure to GraalVM runtime
- Master's degree
