Validate Talent is hiring an onsite Finance Manager and Accountant in Santiago, Chile to lead the company’s finance and accounting operations. The role suits a finance leader with extensive accounting-management experience, including work in consumer goods, retail, or food businesses. You’ll oversee reporting, budgets, treasury, tax and regulatory compliance, controls, audits, and the finance team.
What you’ll do
- Lead accounting operations covering the general ledger, payables, receivables, payroll, and period close.
- Prepare timely financial statements in line with applicable accounting standards.
- Build budgets, forecasts, and cash-flow models for strategic decisions.
- Manage treasury activities and working capital.
- Ensure tax and regulatory obligations are met.
- Maintain internal controls that protect company assets.
- Coordinate internal and external audits.
- Analyze performance trends and recommend profitability improvements.
- Lead, develop, and motivate finance and accounting staff.

- A university degree in public accounting, finance, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of progressive financial and accounting leadership experience.
- Demonstrated experience managing teams.
- Experience in consumer goods, retail, or food companies.
- Knowledge of IFRS or GAAP and tax rules.
- Advanced proficiency with financial and accounting systems such as SAP or Oracle.
- Financial analysis, strategic-planning, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- A results-oriented approach and high professional ethics.
