About the role
This is a full-time, on-site framer-carpenter position with Right Angle Construction in Osler, Saskatchewan, suited to someone with carpentry experience who can work at heights and across construction locations. You'll build structural elements, install finish components and use hand tools while working from plans and meeting building-code requirements.
What you’ll do
- Read construction blueprints, drawings and sketches.
- Lay out work using measuring tools and building codes.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join wood, wood substitutes and lightweight steel.
- Build foundations and install floor beams and subflooring.
- Construct walls and roof systems.
- Install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware.
What they’re looking for
- Secondary school graduation is required.
- Previous experience is an asset.
- A valid driver's licence and personal transportation are required.
- You must supply steel-toed boots, a hard hat and a safety vest.
- The work involves heights, dust, noise, outdoor conditions and heavy physical activity.
- You should be accurate, dependable, communicative and able to work with limited supervision.
Nice to have
- Additional construction or framing experience.
- Willingness to relocate.

- Pay of $25 to $38 per hour, to be negotiated.
- The schedule is 90 hours bi-weekly, generally from 7:00 to 16:00.
