About the role
This is a senior data analyst role at QuaXigma (QX Impact), based in Tirupati. It suits an analyst experienced in source-to-target mapping and SQL-heavy data analysis who wants to work alongside data scientists, engineers, and UX developers building data lakehouses and warehouses. The role covers business and technical requirements gathering, data mapping, testing, and dashboard design.
What you’ll do
- Perform source-to-target mapping for data lakehouse and warehouse projects
- Create business and technical requirements and metadata documentation
- Write test plans, test cases, and test scripts
- Gather business requirements from clients and translate them for technical teams
- Perform data profiling and quality checks on operational systems
- Build reports, dashboards, and visualizations
- Collaborate with development teams on business intelligence solution design
What they’re looking for
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in a technical discipline
- Minimum 5+ years of data analyst experience
- 7+ years of SQL experience with relational databases and normalization
- 6+ years of Excel experience including functions and formulas
- Technical expertise in data modeling and data mart design
- Strong technical writing skills using MS Office, Visio, or SharePoint
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
Nice to have
- Experience with cloud and big data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Databricks
- Hands-on experience with Tableau or QlikView
- Willingness to cross-train on new tools
