About the role
This permanent role manages HVAC system installation and commissioning for commercial and industrial sites across Guadeloupe. You will oversee installation teams, conduct system testing and balancing, and ensure all climate control systems meet performance standards before client handover. The position combines site supervision with technical expertise in heating, cooling, and ventilation equipment.
What you’ll do
- Plan and prepare HVAC installation work in collaboration with site teams
- Supervise installation teams and maintain project schedules
- Execute performance testing and commissioning on all equipment types (rooftop units, chilled water systems, heat pumps, smoke evacuation)
- Balance hydraulic and pneumatic networks to specification
- Identify non-conformities and oversee system adjustments and verification
- Measure physical properties (flow, pressure, temperature) and document results
- Manage site procurement and equipment logistics
- Conduct site meetings and manage change requests
- Support client relations and project closure
What they’re looking for
- Technical qualification in HVAC systems (BTS CIRA, BTS FED, BTS CVC or equivalent)
- Minimum 5 years' experience in system commissioning or site supervision
- Expertise in automation, electrical systems, regulation, and hydraulic/pneumatic balancing
- Ability to diagnose system malfunctions and document functional specifications
- Self-directed and methodical approach with strong analytical skills
- Customer-focused mindset and adaptability

- Background as an experienced maintenance technician looking to transition into commissioning
