What you’ll do
- Lead QA/QC activities from project start through dispatch.
- Control welding procedures, qualifications and non-destructive examination.
- Maintain compliance with ASME Section VIII, Section IX and applicable standards.
- Coordinate with clients, third-party inspectors, production, design, project teams and sub-vendors.
- Review inspection and test plans, quality plans, inspection reports and NDE records.
- Control final quality documentation.
- Manage non-conformances, corrective and preventive actions, complaints and improvement work.
- Lead the QA/QC team and allocate manpower.
- Monitor team performance.
- Coordinate internal, customer, third-party and certification audits.
- Track quality targets, inspections and issue closure.
- Provide technical guidance and quality updates to management.
