About the role
This is an onsite AI and cloud engineering role for building, deploying and supporting AI-enabled business solutions in Chennai or Bengaluru. You'll combine AWS, Terraform, software engineering, integrations and responsible AI practices to move solutions from early MVPs into supported enterprise systems.
What you’ll do
- Design, build, deploy and support AI assistants, agents, copilots and workflow automation.
- Develop RAG solutions using enterprise knowledge and business data.
- Create secure API integrations between AI systems, enterprise applications and SaaS platforms.
- Provision AWS services with Terraform.
- Deploy and operate containerized and serverless applications.
- Build CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
- Monitor production systems, remediate incidents and implement SLOs and telemetry.
- Apply security, data governance, guardrails and Responsible AI controls.
- Create documentation, reusable engineering patterns and governance standards.
- Work with product owners, architects and business stakeholders from MVP through scale.
What they’re looking for
- 4–6 years of relevant IT experience.
- Experience in cloud, platform, DevOps, software, integration or solution engineering.
- Experience building business applications, APIs or integration solutions.
- Hands-on AWS and Terraform experience.
- Experience with Python, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, React or comparable technologies.
- Experience building REST APIs and backend services with FastAPI, Node.js or similar tools.
- Experience supporting CI/CD, Git, Docker and cloud-native delivery.
- A bachelor's or master's degree, or equivalent experience, in a relevant technical or life-sciences field.
Nice to have
- Veeva Vault, Veeva AI or Veeva platform integration experience.
- Amazon Bedrock Agents or Knowledge Bases experience.
- Enterprise-scale RAG, vector database or semantic-search experience.
- MCP client or server development.
- Power Platform or Power Automate experience.
- Life-sciences, clinical, regulatory, quality or GxP experience.
- AWS, Terraform, cloud, AI or related certifications.
